Granger Construction Company, our Construction Manager, will make every effort to encourage and recruit local contractors and suppliers to bid and be part of the construction process. Granger will manage and guide the project, they will not perform any of the work.

January 18, 2012 – Bid Pack 02 Construction Documents Will Be Released for Bids. Interested Bidders are encouraged to contact one of the following:

January 24, 2012 – Bid Pack 02 Contractors Walk-thru at Charlotte High Schools - 3:30 PM to Approximately 5:00 PM This meeting is mandatory for contractors wishing to provide bids for work at the high school. Those wishing to provide bids at Parkview, Washington, and Weymouth are strongly encouraged to attend. Additional site visits can take place upon appointment, however, must not interfere with daily school activities and time slots are extremely limited. This meeting is the best available time to visit the sites.

February 21, 2012 – Bid Pack 02 Bids Due

  • 3:30 PM – Base Bids Due at the Granger Construction Portable
  • 4:30 PM – Alternate Bids Due at the Granger Construction Portable
  • 4:45 PM – Base Bids (only) Opened and Read at the CHS Lecture Room

February 22 - March 8, 2012 – Construction Oversight Team (COT) Post Bid interviews and evaluations with contractors. A schedule for these interviews will be released shortly.

March 19, 2012 – Tentative / Projected start of construction at CHS with Asbestos Abatement in the boys locker-rooms and science classrooms

April 2, 2012 and thereafter until complete – CHS under construction

June 11, 2012 and thereafter until complete – Parkview and Washington under construction. Projected project completion by August 24, 2012
